The Hair After in Durango has been privileged to meet many people in the community and receive feedback from them about their experiences with us. Read the thank you letters below to learn more about their positive interactions with our staff.
On behalf of all the individuals who worked to make the Toy Run a success, we would like to thank you for your support. As business owners, we are approached many times during the year to support various charitable functions in our community, and often do not hear anything further.
The Toy Run, silent auction, and raffle raised over $5,000 for Project Merry Christmas. In addition, well over 100 toys were donated by participants. It was the most successful Toy Run in the 21 years the event has been held.
Your support was critical to making it a success and we wanted to thank you.
We wish you a prosperous 2014.

Thanks to our extremely generous community, this year’s Harvest Gala to benefit the Adaptive Sports Association (ASA) was very successful. On behalf of the participants, staff, board, volunteers, and auction committee, please accept our most sincere appreciation for your generous donation to this year’s Harvest Gala at the Mahogany Grill and Henry Strater Theater. The dollars raised through this year’s event will directly impact ASA winter programs which will kick off in just a few short weeks!
I continue to be overwhelmed by the level of support from our community and local small businesses. We live in a very special place where community members and businesses continue to reach out to non-profit organizations and residents in need. We understand that you are asked very often to support worthy causes and are honored that you have chosen to support ASA. Through your generosity, we are able to continue our strong commitment to fulfill our mission of enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through outdoor sports.
We greatly appreciate your generous in-kind donation of a $50 gift certificate for services. Your contribution certainly contributed significantly to the success of this year’s event. The funds generated through your support will be put to very good use. We continue to see how ASA’s winter and summer programming helps participants uncover their true potential and gives everyone an opportunity to unveil their potential and build independence.
If you are interested in getting involved on the snow this winter, don’t forget about our upcoming volunteer orientations at the Durango Recreation Center on Thursday, November 14 or Tuesday November 19 at 7pm for new volunteers or 6pm for returning volunteers. This experience can be incredibly rewarding and fun.
Many thanks for all the work you went to in putting the auction together at Wild Horse Saloon as a benefit to raise money for Project Merry Christmas. We know you put a lot of time into it, but it sounds like it was lots of fun for those attending it. The money was put to good use in providing a nice Christmas for those who would have experienced a somewhat bleak Christmas.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting “Durango Gives Back with Sweetness.” As part of Share Our Strength’s Great American Bake Sale, my bake sale and raffle have made a different in the fight to end childhood hunger in America.
My bake sale and raffle raised $1,510.00 in funds to support Share Our Strength’s national and local efforts to connect children with the nutritious food they need to lead healthy, active lives and to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.
Thank you for donating 2 gift certificates to our raffle. We greatly appreciate the support; we couldn’t have done it without your help.
